Have a great time exploring the jungle & wildlife, stunning scenery and adventure opportunities. One tour that takes in the thrills & spills of the provinces rugged terrain offers  rafting in the morning and an ATV adventure in the afternoon — the best of both worlds!

This action your gives you a great taste of Thailand’s nature. We pick you up from the hotel. To the rafting base camp on the Songpraek River, around 1.5 hours by land to Phang Nga province. In camp you will receive full instruction and don safety equipment for the course. If you just wish to ride, but not ready to paddle, this is also possible.

After briefing you will set off for an exhilarating run through the rapids. It is classed as an extreme sport, even at this relatively low level of difficulty, there is a minimum age requirement of 6 years (we would be extra cautious and say no under 9s), pregnant women or anyone suffering from back or neck problems. For the shorter route (5km) no experience is necessary and proper training sessions are provided before climbing aboard, including various emergency scenarios. Two professional guides will sit at the front and back of the raft to steer so the paddling required from you is less critical – it’s for powering, rather than manoeuvring the boat. You can even opt out of paddling entirely if you wish to hold on with both hands.

The 5km course takes around 45 minutes to complete, while the longer Grade II – IV 9km course will take an additional 40 minutes. Note that the 9km course is available during the rain season. This is usually from April until February, (please check before booking). And should only be undertaken by adults with some prior experience as it’s more challenging and the skill level required is higher.

After you will try Thai traditional lunch served at a plantation restaurant, you will move to the ATV camp to try a genuine off-road trek, on a 200cc ATV. There are 2 options available, a 30 minute session & a 1 hour session. The course goes along a shallow river and then up through the jungle on dirt tracks.

On the back way to Krabi, you will visit the Monkey Cave temple — Wat Suwanna Kuha.
The entry fee is 20 THB, charged for those who wish to go inside the cave. This charge is not included in to the price, as it is considered as a donation to the temple that will “make merit” for the donor.

No prior experience is required for either the rafting, or the ATV.
